Project Title: Audit Practice Manual (APM) Review

Role overview:

A Project Consultant will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive review of the current APM. This manual serves as a foundational resource for our audit professionals and plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and consistency of audit engagements. The role will involve assessing compliance with relevant legal requirements, regulations, and Cambodian International Standards on Auditing (CISA), as well as providing recommendations and training to audit professionals or enhancements or updates as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and enhance the APM with additional case studies to facilitate the implementation by Small and Medium Practices (SMP) to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, CISA, and relevant professional standards
• Conduct survey or research and workshop for SMPs
• Conduct ISQM 1 training or coaching to SMPs
• Develop three-year strategic plan for the project to enhance the audit quality of firm members
• Train the trainers on APM and provide training to audit professionals, especially SMPs
• Prepare report to ED
• Other tasks related to the project

Requirements:

• Qualification ACCA/ CPA
• 10+ years’ experience in auditing
• Strong training, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
• English proficiency
